we reached patras early in the morning. since we still had some time before we met yinghao in athens in the evening, we decided to visit olympia - the birthplace of the olympic games.
visit into the ancient olympic grounds is free for all EU students - thats us! :D

on our way back to the tourist info centre for our bags, we dropped by the modern museum of the olympic games. a pity the place hasnt opened yet!
the train ride from olympia to athens has to be one of the worst on the trip. the train had no ventilation, was really shaky and the weather was so scorching hot, we almost died.
we did get some really good view tho.
